Many medical school applicants think interview thank you notes sent by email will not suffice. They could not be more wrong! Notes sent through physical mail often do not reach their recipient. When they do arrive intact, they often arrive after the interviewer has all ready turned in your evaluation. The ideal way to send interview thank you notes is to send an email within a few days of your interview.

Forgot to obtain the e-mail address of your medical school interviewer? Don’t sweat it. You can send the thank you to the general admissions office and ask them to forward it. They are usually happy to do so.
